Not told, for if 'twas old, it would not feel quite so bold. It starts ... (for tales must start, though roots go back in dim dark past!) Well, it starts now. With the dry smell of ink on page or light on screen? No, no, with sound and sight and dream in mind. With scream or pant, face clear or sky so drear... What do you like? What smell creeps in your nose, what touch curls up your toes? What taste do you yearn to scrub from your teeth? Why? And who, and where? And then it goes on ... (for start to end must take a while, that's the style, you know.) What must be next, that's up to you. A thought, a chance, a turn, a prance. Just choose your way and go a while, then turn and go some more. A dance! Put hand on edge of cliff, or heart on hook so strong, and pull. Make us hurt, make us ache, make us fear, make us great! In the dark, or in the light, here they come, there we go, and then... Don't stop, don't stop. What's next? And page and page we walk the tale... So when you reach the end so grim, a touch here, a word there, and joy may come or tears may flow. But still, you know, you tell the tale and take the chance. It is a world of you, a gift for me, and that's all as it should be. A muse you seek? A muse you are. And thanks. For tales are my spell. ------------------------------------- >>> 1 item from WRITERS shipped. (47 total records) >>> 1 item from WRITERS shipped.
