Subject:      TECH: Hard Question

I was recently asked, and don't have a good answer for:

"If I am doing a collection of poems about my break-up and I include
private, potentially embarrassing, details of our life in some of the
poems, without permission..." is there a legal problem?  ethical?
moral?  Some kind of problem?

Anyone have ideas on where and how you draw the line about including
not just your own life in your writing, but parts of other people's
lives which they might not really appreciate you exposing?
