Orhan 3 Day 17 TE 6051
D. stealths up to the tower and discovers a metal door. No traps, no
pings, no power, no nothing, just a big metal door. There's a long corridor
beyond. D. starts searching. She finds some Lugraki guarding the way.
The corridor is pretty small. So we all have to crouch over, except for
D. who is only four feet tall.
D. and Haeraan try the sneak up on them and cut them off plan. They sneak
down, but D. blows her stealth roll and the Lugraki are alerted. They
draw their weapons and are searching for the invisible people. D. turns
visible, screeches and flees back past Haeraan. Oh well. Haeraan starts
the combat. Imre rushes in and put all three Ligraki to sleep. D. starts
slitting throats. The rest of the party follows. The Lugraki have no badges.
D. discovers the crazy lugraki dining room where they are being briefed
on guard duty. We sneak past and go down the secret passage with the dripping
water. It goes down and down and gets slimy and icky, then the passage
goes up again and gets drier. We find a slug that makes icky stuff. We
pass the slug. We find the guard room, it's empty.
We go past and find the torture chamber. Thye are torturing various elves.
D. and Haeraan crack some heads... We free the high elf, and he whispers
to Vallandra before he dies. She screams, "Nooooooo!" We go
the the Linaer elf, but he's dying too. He says, "It has been found."
then he dies. The human is fine. His name is Jonah. He was a sailor aboard
a merchant ship. They were sailing to Hallissa and were set upon by Ulor
ships. Only he lives to tell the tale, for they just wanted to kill people
and scuttle the ship. Some were saved to torture and sacrifice. We find
a book with a list of names of prisoners, with races and times. Jonah
says they were just torturing the elves for fun. We free two more humans
from the prison. They were picked up by the same sort of patrol that we
killed last night. A high powered priest said he wasn't interested in
them and threw them in cells.
We give them guard cloaks from the guardroom and weapons and tell them
to stick with Jack. We explore stuff. We find a messenger hawk room, and
a teleport circle room. We argue about killing the hawks. They may have
survived the argument. We find a room with two chanting priests and an
altar with hangings depicting drowning people. We charge in and smite
them. Their two friends come to help so we smite them too. We search them,
and find Charon-y holy symbols on them. Karaktus, Dark god of the seas.
We go in the treasure room, while stuff starts being commotion sounding
downstairs. There are three chests full of gold and silver. Kier starts
opening little boxes and stuff. We scoop up some trays of gems. It's crazy
loot! Kyr finds the crystal orb pendant we are looking for. (the Sea Drake
pendant). There are bracelets and boots and a chain with a gem too.
We head to the stairs, but the guards are there. We slay them handily.
Then we cover the stairwell with stone and teleport home.
Kyr says the pendant is best used by Jack. (Mentalism mage.) It's crazy
gross.
The Book of the Royal Lineage of U-Lyshak proves that Kier is the rightful
heir, so he takes it. We also get a spell book that Imre takes. (It's
probably bad.)
