Orhan 4 Day 62 TE 6061

Alynna is at the villa awaiting her newbies. Jonqui shows up first. A rather homely human woman of indeterminant age. She gets a job interview and plays a toon for Alynna. She's pretty useless in a fight, but claims to be a people person interested in finding out about the world.

Next to arrive is a slightly gizzled gent in his early 40s. He's made to wait for a bit, and then when he comes in, Jonqui fusses over him as if he looked messed up. His name is Magellan. Illusionist of some sort.

Next is an arrogant half-elf, Gyras. He's clearly some sort of fighter type. Perhaps assassin. He's like wealth and power in the long term.

Finally Tess comes in, a young human girl, around 17 years off age. She's a priestess of Eissa.

We spend the night in the villa and then head out for Izar in the morning.

Orhan 4 Day 63 TE 6061

The party gets on an Oathar ship named the Blue-Green Sea.

Once out of site of land, the crew breaks out the booze. Tess gets herself some waygrog. She blows a roll and gets instantly smashed. The rest of the party starts following. Alynna carries them to bed one at a time. Well, actually, just Tess.

Orhan 4 Day 70 TE 6061

Nothing happens. There are a couple of uncalm seas, but it's mostly OK. We make it to Danarchis.

We explore the city. Jonqui gets some info pretending to be a sailor and hears that Stroane is probably making a play against Sarnak again soon. Sigh. She also finds out that ships (The Crazy Eight) are heading out to that cursed island.

Magellan and Tess team up and head down to the bars on the docks. Tess gets smashed, but curses a low level thug to talk and talk and talk about everything he might know about. Tess keeps getting super drunk while Magellan pumps the cursed guy for info. The local black market stuff here (slave trade, etc.), is run by Igor the exile in contact with House Dolnegan of Selkai.

We get back. Magellan and Tess report to Alynna everything they found. Alynna thinks about it for a while, and then sends Gyras back to the bar to clean up the guy whose talking and talking and talking for the rest of time.

Gyras goes back to the bar and chops the guy's arm off fatally and leaves. No one sees a thing. Wow.

Orhan 5 Day 1 TE 6061

We have breakfast and set sail. In the after action report Alynna says that everyone did a fine job, but should probably be more disguised next time. Especially Tess.

Orhan 5 Day 6 TE 6061

We seem to be becalmed on the water.

After five days of being stuck on the water, Tess starts casting Detect Fate and Luck spells on people. This, of course, is massively misinterpreted by the crew and they start protesting the priestess cursing them all.

There's almost a riot, but Gyras mental dominates the leader of the opposition and Alynna and the captain get things back under control.

Things are going well until tentacle rise up out of the sea and attempt to engulf the ship. We fight them! Yarrrrr! They get pushed back into the sea... Magellan covers Tess's bat wings with an illusion of angel wings.

We get to Izar!! Hooray!
