Orhan 1 Day 35 TE 6065

So, Lorgalis and his daughter Shentira draw their swords...

Round 1: Alynna, Oathar, and Haeraan cast buffs in snap. In 50+ of normal Lorgalis attacks Imre. He does Imre (with a 294 DB, who knew!) 8 points. This angers him and he orders his daughter to kill Imre. She attacks him. He takes an 18 D Slash/ Unholy. Alynna counterattack with a 20 EStrike, BCrush, but he takes magic Larges, so a few dozen hitpoints. He also ignores stun. They both attack again in deliberate. She gets a drops and dies in six rounds crit. But she's got lionheart up, so won't take it during the combat. Haeraan attacks Shentira and gets 33 hits through.

Round 2: Kyrik attacks Lorgalis in snap and gets an 8B, so a large doing another couple dozen hits. In Normal, Shintira pulls out a wand and says, "Dispel!" All our buffs must resist. Many go down. Lorgalis attacks Imre. Alynna attacks them both for a couple of points each. Haeraan does 30 and a Holy to Shantira. In deliberate, Lorgalis attacks Imre again. Imre takes a 20EK, and an Unholy. Imre gets a stunNP, but blows it. Shantira in deliberate also attacks Imre. She does a 16CP Unholy. Oathar casts lightning at both fo them. But Lorgalis bounces his back at Oathar. Oathar takes a B Lightning.

Round 3: Shintira waves her wand and heals some in snap. Alynna hastes herself. Kyrik similarly buffs and Imre heals teh party by 90. Lorgalis screams and five black bolts come for each of us. We try to resist with our lowest RR. Kyrik takes it. 66 points and 3 H Nether/Void crits. Kyrik goes down hard in several gruesome ways, he avoids death, but he's down. Alynna attacks Lorgalis a bit. Oathar hastes everyone again. In deliberate, both Lorgalis and Shintira attack Haeraan. He mostly takes it though without serious injury.

Round 4: In snap, Shintira heals herself again. Alynna cries out, "Why today of all days?!" Kyrik claws his way to consciousness. Lorgalis parries and responds: "Your protectors kept me busy for the longest time, that dragon and his supporters and your addleminded master. But they couldn't keep me busy forever. Shintira sensed your presens up north. But it was only after she confired we me that we determine dit was really you. Thus, I knew it was time." Shintira goes on full parry. Oathar puts a buff up.

We drop out of combat time. Shintira heals herself and Lorgalis up. "I could not harm you before you went back in time. I'm not that foolish." He doesn't want to destroy the world, he just wants to rule it. Actually Loragalis thinks Andraax will destroy the world. He took a big shrounded object that was taken from the ruins of the Loragalis's palace. Thea-Terka. World-Breaker. One of the last remaining from Kadaena's arsenal. Andraax has it. Imre points out that he's had it for like 40,000 years and the world is still fine. Lorgalis points out that he hasn't been insane that long. He went insane at the end of the second era when he was swept away in a flowstorm. "Talk to your fellows seers and ask them to seek the truth they dare not know. When they stare into the abyss, who will they see, it won't be me."

If we help him take over northern Jaiman, Rahkhan can have the south. He'll help us against Ondoval if we do him that favor and assist with his red dragon problem. Alynna: "Could we discuss it at another time after we've spoken to our seers." Lorgalis: "Very well, you have a month. A representative will return at that time to get my answer. I warn you, choose well." He and Shintira step through a portal to Jaiman somewhere.

The minion of Rianne shows up and we invite him to join us as we return to the wall. Oh right, and Alynna was pierced through the heart and needs to be stood up before her lion's heart goes down.

Oathar and Haeraan and the minion head out to the wall to see what else they can do. Kyrik really wants to go out, but people think he shouldn't since he's go no real knees and the like. He's also jus tusing crazy spells to work through the pain. He goes anyways.

We head to the walls. Essentailly, it's about 10-20% of the city burned and the bad guys retreated back to their side of the wall, but now it's their defense rather than ours.

Alynna needs four hours of surgery and three days of recovery. Kyrik needs about seven days recoverey time as well.

We beat them back to their side of the wall, but it's sort of a stalemate. the pirates were apparently not paid enough to assault the city. But they do keep our fleet hovering over there blocking. Our defense minister is hiring mercs to try and get enough of them up here to break the siege. Probably Lankani troops. They need the money and are used to fighting Ardanians. They're reduced down to something like 4-5 k Ardanian land troops here.

Oathar's nanny comes back from the market with several pieces of paper. Contracts that the thieves guild has circulated. 10k orlini for each of our heads, bounties being paid by the Ardanians. That's pretty much top tier.

Orhan 1 Day 36 TE 6065

We go to consult Veriak. We want to know about the end fo the world. He sees a set of scales. On one side are six fingers and a mushroom cloud. On the otherside are six fingers and an endless horde. Yup, a balance of terror between Andraax and Ondoval.

Orhan 1 Day 37 TE 6065

Oathar goes and gets an audience with Neela. He asks about the end of the world, but Neela says that's Eissa's deal. Oathar gets Imre to go ask Eissa about it on the next holy day.

Haeraan goes on a date. Luna warms him that Dennys of Bornay is looking for her hand in marriage again. Haeraan needs to take steps before it's too late. So, he goes to talk to the count. He asks for Luna's hand. The count says that's fine with him, but it's really up to her. Though by the way, one little thing, "The world will end and then it won't." That's the best advice I can give you.

Imre sends a note to the ambassador for VK, but we get a reply saying he's busy and we'll be informed when he's back in town.
