Haeraan's dream gives him teh 13 pillars with glowing orbs again. A dyar touches the orb and there's a flash.

Tortured enough, we go to Nomikos and research the Nomikos monalogues

"On the Thalan: They are the born forever ones." It goes on to talk about the creepy mentalists who hide in objects and mysticaly impregnate people who touch the orbs with themselves.

We discuss a lot. Then we discuss even more.

Orhan 4 Day 47 TE 6065

The next morning, we decide to head off to Lys to talk to the elves.

But that afternoon, the skyship from the Alliance arrives with Imre's hottub. He got Gethryan musical instrument. He spent 1500 gold. Oathar takes in out on the town. He makes a vast (2000 gold) profit.

We also hear that Alliance representatives have visited Vajar.

Oathar picks two of his secret trusted captains and sends them on totally legitimate trading delegations under the auspices of his secret identity. They are off to establish teleport points and get us bases there.

Orhan 4 Day 48 TE 6065

We go to Kaitaine. They get a ship form Lys about once a week. We decide to check in every day and see if we can catch it. While we wait, we go investigate Vajar.

Oathar assumes a Vajari merchant role and makes a contacting role in Vajar. About a week ago, the Alliance delegation teleported in and get to see the king. Now they're at an in near the palace.

We also check to see if there is a Vajar loremaster. But there's not.

Oathar recruits a local agent to start a anti-Alliance rally in a couple of days.

Orhan 4 Day 49 TE 6065

The Lys boat has arrived. Alynna goes to talk to the elves. She talks to the workers unloading the ship. They send her to an officer. There's a guy on the deck supervisign the unloading, he's the captain. He invites her on board. She was from a settlement destroyed in Haestra, and wants to visit Lys. They will set sail in a couple of days.

Oathar disguises himself as D. since humans aren't allowed. Kyrik, Alynna and Oathar head to Lys. Imre is stuffed in the hold with horses and cows.

Orhan 4 Day 50 TE 6065

"Friends, Countrymen, Vajari! I come not to praise the Alliance, but to bury it." Haeraan wanders through the crowd inflaming the crowd.

There appears to be a pair of guys in the crowd, just watching and taking notes. Then the rally turns into a riot and cops arrive to break it up. Haeraan casts courage on the crowd and gets it to get into it with the police. The crowd eventually backs off though, since you don't want to go to jail in Vajar. Then Haeraan notices the small groups who leave the end of the rally and wander off to form a secret meeting.

Orhan 4 Day 51 TE 6065

It's quiet after the riot. Haeraan hears that the official news has no mention of the riot. However, in the bars and informal talk, it's quite well known. Haeraan tracks the underground secret society group. They are all apprentice professionals.

They all talk about getting the theives guild on their side, but it doesn't seem likely. Haeraan then convinces the middle class that the Alliance will crush crime. Great, now the middle class is for the Alliance.

Haeraan convinces everyone that bureaucrats will take over if the Alliance moves in.

The ship to Lys docks at a lovely little farming community. It sounds like it a one day ride to the capital. Imre dresses like a Sarnaki guy. We get some horses and ride to the capital. The capital isn't so impressive. We get a couple of rooms at the Inn.

D asks the innkeeper, "How do you keep the humans out?" Apparently, the entire land is warded. Noone may enter at all unless they're an elf or have permission. Alynna picks up a teleport point by meditating. D. wanders around the palace and sees a 200-foot diameter circle of power. That is a giant artifact level circle power multiplier level thinger. Wow. It's protecting the whole land. Oathar (D) sits down in front of it and starts hours long meditation/analysis of the circle. Wow. It's totally cool.

Just over in the garden, Imre finds every type of rare medicinal plant they've ever seen.

Orhan 4 Day 54 TE 6065

Haeraan identifies the members of the future underground, but it seems clear that the Alliance deal is on rails.

Kyrik tries to get a membership in the Lys library. Stuff about the great portal of Lys are all in the restricted section.
