Protestant Student Community

The Protestant Student Community is an officially recognized student organization at MIT. Our purpose is to celebrate our Christian community by providing opportunities for worship, study, service, and fun. We are the official campus presence of the American Baptist Church, the United Methodist Church, the Presbyterian Church (USA), the United Church of Christ and we are also the home of many Christians without a denominational affiliation.

Sunday morning Protestant worship at 11:00 a.m. in the MIT Chapel is one of many gathering times for the Protestant Student Community. Students are involved in all aspects of worship including musical accompaniment, choir, bible reading, and more. New ideas are encouraged and explored by the Protestant Student Community. We are a very diverse group of Christians gathered from around the world to share spiritual growth, explore friendships, and have fun together. We seek to be open minded and curious about the variety of beliefs in the group. Everyone is welcome.
