Each of the ten clues refers to a person who has been on the cover of The Improper Bostonian; the logo at the top of the image is a parody of the logo The Improper Bostonian used for years and then naturally revamped shortly before this year’s Hunt. The magazine is biweekly, and the two-week period for each referenced issue begins in one of the months listed on the yellow spine.

For each clue, the rectangle with a letter matching the clue corresponds to a single letter on the cover featuring that person. The covers can be found in the following galleries:

When the marked letters are placed in the order of months indicated on the spine, they spell out the answer to this puzzle, CENTENNIAL.
