Students Plan Trips For Break

Now that the weather has become more wintry, MIT students have begun to anticipate the holiday break. While most are looking forward to what may seem like a mundane break: sleeping, forgetting about schoolwork, and enjoying time at home with family and friends, some students, however, have more exotic plans to break the monotony of daily classes.

Difava Steps in After Time at Logan

Difava did not think his delayed arrival will hinder his ability to get into his job here at MIT. “I don’t feel at all that I’m penalized. We take assignments based on previous experience and I have had 28 years of policing experience, so I feel completely confident,” Difava said.


Gaggle Cops 122nd Manboard Elections

“The President fully supports Chairman Rubin in continuing this important battle,” said White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer. Stepping up to the position of Editor In Chief and Attorney General was Kevin R. Lang, replacing outgoing Editor Dana A. Levine. Many within the Tech were initially skeptical of Lang, calling him a leftover from Cold War MIT reporting, but have been pleasantly surprised by his tough news meetings and drinking ability.


Student Arrested After Chase

New York State Police arrested MIT student Tiffany L. Bostick ’02 after a 30 minute car chase early Saturday morning. The chase began after she allegedly skipped a toll booth, reported The Record of Bergen County, New Jersey, and continued into Rutherford, New Jersey at a dead end on Rutherford Avenue.
