Welcome to My Punting Page

For residents of Cambridge, England punting refers to sailing down the Cambridge river in the boats that you see above. For residents of Cambridge, Massachusetts, especially students at MIT,where my parents send a great deal of their money, punting refers to avoiding work by doing mostly meaningless and/or fun things (like searching the web for a picture of a punt). I suppose the idea is same for both kinds of punting. In the first, you are enjoying a lovely day, without a care in the world. In the second, you are enjoying a lovely day while ignoring the cares that threaten to crush you and drive you to the brink of sanity.
Hmmm...Come to think of it, night would probably be the appropriate time for MIT students to be punting, something not so easily accomplished in the other type of punting. Well my home now tries to incorporate both. Its night in the back but day in the picture. Actually after constant tooling you can be confused by the time of day anyway.

This page is currently under construction. It will only be worked on when I really really really am avoiding work or when I have free time (never).

April 19, 1997...Having looked at some other people's home pages, and coming off of the worst week of my year, I felt the need to work on this thing a bit. There are only some organizational changes and new pages, nothing too amazing. I still don't much about html. The most advanced tag I've discovered so far is probably "LI", but don't you like the bullets?
