   Thanks for inquiring about MIT Student Cable TV36!  While there won't
be any more meetings until the fall term begins, I'd be glad to talk
to you in person to answer any questions you might have.  Feel free
to call me at x3-0972 or drop by my office at NE43-610 (the AI lab; it's
probably better to call before coming over).  We could also arrange
a time to show you what we have and what we've done for shows in the past.
I assume you'll be here over the summer?

Eric,

I'm interested in bringing more programming and manpower to SCTV.  I am the
Undergraduate Association President for next year and I would like to see the
cable system utilized at MIT.  I would appreciate the opportunity to speak
with you about the current status of SCTV and what you would like to see

Eric,

Howdy, I wrote a little while ago (I've also recently left voice mail for you).
Just in case we are not able to meet sometime in the near future, I wanted to
at least let you know what I and my partners (Ron Peters and Eric Field) want
to do.

Basically, we feelt that SCTV has got a lot of potential and we want to do as
much modernization as we possibly can.  I've spent the summer talking to
several administrators in an effort to raise funds and was very successful for
the most part.  I'm not close to being the technical expert in this but we want
to bring in a Quadra based system that would allow us to digitally edit 
material which would both speed and ease production (Ron and Eric are the guys
for this).

As far as I know, you are pretty much the only remaining member of the
organization and we are interested in sort of reincorporating it, dragging
people into the membership, and setting up a concrete base of funds.  It would
not be an exclusive organization by any means but we would want to set more
concrete guidelines as to how things functioned since the new equipment would
necesitate a "gentler" hand.

Anyway, we like to see Student Cable succeed at MIT and we'd enjoy the
opportunity of meeting with you whenever it's most convenient.  Hope to
here from you soon.
