STAY TUNED

Ever get the urge to talk about that "Star Trek: The Next Generation" or
that "DS9" episode you've just seen? Maybe you feel like expressing your
opinions across the entire MIT campus? Or maybe you'd just like to hear what
your fellow classmates thought about the show? Well, if you fit into any of
these categories, have we got a show for you!

It's called STAY TUNED, and it's broadcast live each Saturday directly
after every first-run episode of "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine"
(which is broadcast by WCVB-TV at 7:00pm). When 8 o'clock rolls around,
tune your MIT cable converter in to Channel 36 and be a part of MIT's only
call-in talk show devoted to Star Trek fans! Here's a sample of what you'll
find:

  Live call-in discussion
We invite phone calls from across the campus (and across cambridge), so
you're guaranteed a lively and informative discussion! Find out what
others think about an episode, or express your own opinion! You're free to
talk about anything related to any of the Star Trek series!

  On-campus roving camera
You can even see your friends express their opinions each week
as we confront them with our roving camera in these pre-recorded
segments. Who knows, maybe you may even end up in front of
    our camera!

  Star Trek comedy and news
See your favorite Star Trek scenes edited together into wild and
wacky video clips. And catch the latest appearances by the cast
of ST:TNG and DS9 on talk shows and specials across the country!

  Weekly prizes
We award a prize every week, at random, to one of our callers. For
example, we'll be giving away some of those spiffy 1992 Hallmark Star Trek
Christmas ornaments. Push a button on the Galileo shuttlecraft to hear
    Spock recite his Christmas greeting!

So when you turn off "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" this Saturday,
tune into STAY TUNED! It's MIT's hottest TV show!
