MIT Student Groups
Student Cable will provide at-cost video capture for ASA recognized student groups on an as-available basis. The only cost for filming is if your project requires us to rent additional equipment. Please try to give us as much advanced notice as possible so we can send the opportunity out to the group and see if there is interest from our members.
In general, we provide the entire raw footage for your group to use. We also ask that we are allowed to use clips of the footage to post teasers and/or trailers on our own YouTube channel and that you link back to sctv.mit.edu when you post the video. We’d also love to share your video once it’s posted, so please do send us a link! Further editing work is discussed on a per-project basis.
Non MIT Student Groups
Our typical rate is $50/hr per camera. Most complex events will require at least 2 camera operators. Editing work is discussed on a per-project basis.
