Steve advises MIT inventors, potential entrepreneurs, companies, and investors interested in MIT technology about MIT technology transfer practices and intellectual property; and provides advice and appropriate contacts to these entrepreneurs, companies and investors.  He also serves as a judge for M.I.T.'s entrepreneurship contest, “The 50K,” and as a project evaluator for the Deshpande Center, proof of concept 15M$ fund.  He lectures on intellectual property related issues for several M.I.T. courses in new product management and entrepreneurship as well as to external groups interested in how MIT transfers technology.
