TEACHING EXPERIENCE

• 1998-2001: Supervisor of pharmacology for students of medicine /vet / natural sciences, at Trinity College, University of Cambridge. This involves teaching undergraduate pharmacology to groups of students, setting question papers, evaluating answers and writing evaluation reports of students.
   
• 1998-2001: Demonstrator of practical undergraduate pharmacology for part IB students, at the Department of Pharmacology, University of Cambridge.
   
• 1999-2000: Supervised three part II-students on their final year research projects involving (i) the effects of angiostatin and combretastatin on vascular and non-vascular cells, (ii) pharmacological characterisation of huang-qin, a TCM for asthma (paper communicated to J Pharm Pharmacol) and (iii) elucidating thesignal transduction for angiogenic effects of Rg1 (a novel compound).
   
• 1996-1998: Participated in post-graduate teaching programme at the Department of Pharmacology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India.
