Commuting Within NUS & NTU

shuttle In both universities, there are shuttle bus services that give you the convenience to commute to whichever area of the campus you need to go to.

In NUS, there are 4 routes, Service A, Service B, Service C and Service D. For more information on the route and the timing of the services, pease refer to the NUS Internal Shuttle Bus Service.

There are 3 buses in NTU that serves 3 different routes, Route A, Route B and Route C. For more information on the route and timing of the services, please refer to the NTU Internal Shuttle Bus Service.

The Orientation Programme allows all new students like yourself to have a better and clearer understanding of what to expect at SMA. Furthermore, this is the time for you to network and get to know people from your own as well as other programmes.

Student Activities

Several activities are planned throughout the year by the SMA office and Student Committees. These include networking sessions, excursion trips, roller-blading, golf clinic and fund raising. These activities not only help you to relieve stress from the busy schedules and projects but also allow you to spend time with your friends and acquaintances.

The Student Committees consist of the Social Committee and the Sports Committee.

Travelling from Changi International Airport to NUS by Taxi:

Taxis are easily available outside the Arrival Hall.
The fare is approximately S$20.
There is an extra surcharge of S$3 - S$5 for trips from Change International Airport.
An additional surcharge of up to 50% of the fare will apply between 11:30pm till 6am.

Travelling from Changi International Airport to NUS by MRT Train:

Board the train at the Changi Airport MRT station (CG2) and take the West Line.
Alight at Clement MRT station (EW23).
Board Bus no.96 from Clementi Bus Interchange which brings you directly to the campus.
The approximate fare for the train ride is S$1.90 and S$0.90 for the feeder service.

Travelling from Golden Mile Shopping Complex (Beach Road) bus terminal to NUS:

Take a 10 min walk to Victoria Street and board bus 33 to Kent Ridge Terminal, just outside the University.
The approximate fare is between S$1.30 – S$1.60 for bus 33.

Travelling from Ban San Street bus terminal to NUS:

Board bus 33 at Victoria Street to Kent Ridge Terminal, just outside the University.
The approximate fare is between S$1.30 – S$1.60 for bus 33.
Alternatively, you can walk towards Bugis MRT station (EW12) and board a train to Clementi MRT Station (EW23).
Then board bus 96 from Clementi Bus Interchange to campus.
The approximate fare for the train ride is S$1.50, and for the feeder service it is S$0.90.

Travelling from Kallang Bahru / Lavender Street Junction bus terminal to NUS:

Board the MRT Train from Lavender MRT Station (EW11) to Clementi MRT Station (EW23).
Then board bus 96 from Clementi Bus Interchange to campus.
The approximate fare for the train ride is S$1.50, and for the feeder service it is S$0.90.

Travelling from Golden Mile Complex (Beach Road) bus terminal to NTU:

Board bus 100 to Keppel Road and alight in front of Tanjong Pagar Distripark. At the same bus stop, board bus 30 to Boon Lay Bus Interchange and transfer to Bus 179 / 199 to the campus.
The approximate fare is approximately between S$3.40 – S$4 for the bus trips.

Walk towards Bugis MRT station (EW12) and board a train to Boon Lay MRT Station (EW27).
Then board bus 179 / 199 from Boon Lay Bus Interchange to campus.
The approximate fare for the train ride is S$1.70, and for the feeder service it is S$0.90.

Transfer to bus 179 / 199 to the campus.
