Receiving Another User's Notifications

When receiving someone's active message notifications, a diamond appears beside that person's name in the Proxy menu.

Note: If you are a read-only proxy, you cannot create, change, delete, or print an activity, meeting, or to-do item.

You must have a person's calendar open in order to receive their message notifications.

Before working offline, follow the steps below to ensure that the offline computer contains the necessary Meeting Maker account data.

To proxy another user's calendar while working offline:
  1. Install Meeting Maker on the offline computer.
  2. Make sure that the computer is connected to the network.
  3. Double-click the Meeting Maker icon to start Meeting Maker.
  4. Sign in to Meeting Maker.
  5. Use the Proxy menu to select the calendars to proxy while working offline.
This creates a data folder for your Meeting Maker account on that computer.
  6. Sign out. You can now work offline.

When reconnecting to the server, Meeting Maker updates any calendars you worked on, and sends proposals for meetings or to-do items created offline.
