This is the first milestone release.
An extensive rewrite is already underway to turn this into a more portable tool for the next full milestone release.
At that time, the separation of api from implementation will begin.
The new datamodel, with the 'nexus' and 'user' separated from any Stellar dependencies, is available here.
An API is being defined to access the environment in which the tool is operating, providing a source for information about the 'nexus' (the site, course, or context) and 'user'. This project is at http://web.mit.edu/stellar-dist/www/stellar-directory/.
The Stellar Images team is now collaborating with the Thalia project from MIT Academic Computing.
