stopit@mit.eduA service of MIT Information Services and Technology
MIT Stopit deals with cases of misuse of MIT's computer systems. We endorse proper communications behavior, sometimes called netiquette. We know that certain messages do offend people. However, MIT does not monitor nor attempt to control the content of electronic communications. Unless a message contains something that is illegal, we prefer to err on the side of freedom of speech and do not remove offensive speech.
