Resources for Trainers at MIT

Training Media Review Training Delivery Guide Many staff at MIT are involved in training other staff. For some, training is a major part of their role, and for others it is a small part. Some trainers have formal background in adult learning theory and instructional design, but many do not. In some areas, staff have become trainers simply because they have expertise in their area of content, not because they actively chose to become a trainer. Designing and delivering effective training involves a wide range of skills, and making the leap from content expert to trainer can prove to be challenging. On this site, we provide you with some tools and resources to help make that leap. While it is intended for trainers who do not have formalized background in training, we hope it will be useful to all trainers, regardless of amount of experience as a trainer.
