In the 28 June issue of the Information Alley, we published an article about Apple Remote Access (ARA) 2.1. Here is some additional information on obtaining Apple Remote Access 2.1

UPDATES

• ARA Client and Personal Server 2.0.x customers can upgrade to version 2.1 for a $13 shipping/handling fee from the Apple Order Center at 1-800-293-6617 (In Canada 1-800-361-6075 when available) or free from online services or the Internet (charges from online service may still apply).

  Important Notes About ARA 2.1 Updater:

• The ARA 2.1 Updater is not available from online services at this time. We were not able to obtain an estimated time when this update would be available. However, when this software becomes available, we will post a notice in the Information Alley.
• The updater only works with 2.0.x versions of ARA Client and Personal Server.
• If you are using ARA Client or Personal Server version 1.x the updater will not work, so you must purchase a full version of the ARA 2.1 software.
