About
Welcome to the webpage for MIT’s Undergraduate Society of Women in Mathematics (USWIM)! USWIM is a club supporting women and nonbinary students who are interested in math. Our club is open to all who support and are committed to this mission. You do not have to be a math major to be a part of USWIM! We host career-oriented events, social events, and outreach events. We regularly host a mentorship program, where we pair first years/sophomores with juniors/seniors based on interests and potential career goals.
Goals
- Provide a safe, welcoming, and friendly community within the math department at MIT
- Make USWIM members aware of the resources and opportunities available to them
