1998 UPA NorthEast Women's College Regionals
Welcome!
This site is intended to provide information about the
Ultimate Player's Association's NorthEast Regional
Tournament for college women. The NorthEast Region includes New England (New Hampshire,
Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island) and New York. Regionals is
part of the college series of tournaments the UPA
sponsors. The college series is a three level tournament series. The four sections in
the NorthEast regions held sectional tournaments on April 25-26. Find out the
sectionals results here. Each section then sends its best
teams to the regional level tournament. Nationals will be held May 29-31 in Blaine, Minnesota.
The NorthEast women's region has been allotted 3 slots to nationals.

- What: Regionals will be a
16 team double elimination tournament
- When: Saturday and Sunday, May 2-3, 1998
- Why: To select 3 teams to represent the region at nationals
- Where: Stanley Park in
Westfield, MA (west of Springfield, MA)
Tips
- Trainer hours: Saturday 9:30am-7:00pm; Sunday 9:30am-3:00pm
- Where to eat: Local commercial area is the strip on Elm Street between Franklin Street
(where you turn off for Option 1) and the rotary.
Commercial food chains and more restaurants can be found on Main Street (route 20E off
the rotary) about a mile from the rotary.
