Final project for 2.671 (measurement and instrumentation). In this project, I measured how different mechanical properties of the Miura-ori pattern change with different fold angles. I folded 12 copies of the same crease pattern, and then squished them under the texture analyzer at 4 different fold angles. The stress-strain curves were then analyzed to see how the compressive strength and initial stiffness were affected.
