center

The grassy area directly adjacent to the Sulzberger building is planted with rows of saplings and acts as the center or core from which the other mini-nurseries spread. The presence of vegetation all around the building makes a strong visual statement about the school's role in the cultivation, planting and redefinition of spaces taking place throughout the neighborhood. This site will be an ongoing part of the program, and will be replanted repeatedly.
