The Idea was not to create just a water garden to the community, but try to be a water garden for a more large area. The main idea of the project was to centralize all the water in one big BOWL of concrete that will be floating in a bowl of grass, this will be my DETENTION basin. The water will flow from the 3 main streets that surrounded the school, Brown Street to the north, 47th. Street to the east, and 48th. Street to the west.
The water will be collected in the bowl, and from here to the sewer. When the water fills this container, it will begin to spill over the edges filling the organic container (bowl of grass). |

Also I'll have 2 main GEOMETRY STUDY POOLS, containing different volumes in size, form and color. In these pools kids will be able to play with the FORMS, allowing them to know how they look in a real size, | |
and learning how to calculate volumes, areas, etc.
The water of this pools will not be rain water, it will be clean water coming from city pipes. An in the cold winter days, they'll be able ot skate inside the pools. |
