Water can be used in the overall environmental plan and with design in mind for many visual functions besides the most general ones just outlined. The approach to uniting water with form for visual purposes should be similar to that taken with other design elements. The aim of this project is to give an opportunity to the people of the Mill Creek neighborhood to feel the presence of water more strongly about them.

The streets and lots of Mill Creek neighborhood could be enhanced by certain visual aspects of water . These I have listed below. They are defined here by a particular character or quality I wish to emphasize.
1. Flat, static water
2. Flowing water
3. Falling water
4. Jets-Spray.
5. Combination water features
With these ideas in mind, I hope to make an attempt at integrating water, landscape and community. The residents of Mill Creek need no longer be troubled by water's frightening side if they learn to bring themselves into harmony with its force, rather than seek to bring it under an absolute control.
