The site is where privacy of the Sulzberger Middle School and the local residents meet. Up to now, it seems like each privacy is diluting out. There is the linear city grid cutting through, and the fences and walls, which exist almost arbitrarily just to make up the radical topographical differences.
To secure both privacies, but at the same time, bring some unity, this public detention basin can serve as a threshold
for the students and teachers of Sulzberger Middle school. This place has a strong identity as a whole.
