REVEALING URBAN WATERS

Abstract

In order to reveal the water, I paid attention to the whole area' s landscape. Maybe this idea came from classic Chinese landscape design. I try to connect the life of the water with the surrounding of it . In this planning, I try to make the environment as a whole thing.

Description

BOTTOM: This graphic expresses the whole area plan. The form of the plan is like a whirl of the water. There is a central plaza which is just like a rock to be thrown into the water. The plaza is the center point of the area. The form of the ground plane is up and down like a wave. I hope when people walk through the area, they can feel the varieties of land, wherever they walk.
UPPER LEFT: This is the section of the linking road. From this picture, you can see the use of the water. It is a long road with a lot of fountains along it. The quantity is emphasized in the plan. I regard it as a effective way of revealing the waters.
UPPER RIGHT: This section discloses the whole area land form.
