Abstract:
The realm of human experience is constructed through ever-changing perceptual and mental processes which then allow the re-invention of our world. Understanding the Mill Creek neighborhood involves more than just a collection of visual experiences and factual data. The immediate experience involves a recollection of the past and inquiry into the future, which are often sparked by present sensory experiences. . . . . .

As designers it becomes a challenge to represent non-visual sensory information in a visual way. Something is gained each step of the way, from our interpretation of the site, to our representation, to the viewers' reinterpretation. In this way the site is invented and re-invented for each of us.
