ANALYSIS
The neighbourhood buildings are divided into groups

  • Red= Excellent requiring no maintainance
  • Yellow= Minor work required
  • Green= Damaged requiring extensive work
  • Blue= Damaged beyond repair

At first glance at the building conditions,there seemed to be no apparent pattern. For example, there was one row of so called "damaged requiring extensive work" and the row adjacent to it was in "excellent condition". On extensive reviews of the data, we found that there was an intimate relation between land use and the building conditions.

The "damaged" buildings can contribute in the recovery and provide an excellent potential for the growth and recovery of the neighbourhood.
