Community Garden: This is the entrance of the course. The main spirit of the space is to let people express and celebrate their own African-American culture. Not only a graffiti plaza being a main gathering space, but also several graffiti walls surrounding this area are the main element in this community garden. Besides, sand and grassland are characters of first seven holes.

Easten Garden: The tiny and delicate space is created here. The main pah with trellis comes from the traditional in between space in oriental garden. The trellis with special story boards decribes the story of Mill Creek. Some characters in oriental gardens are also used, such as framing the view and dry water, ect.

Italian Garden: The hill and terraces are created here. Going up and down brings more fun for people palying golf.

Grading & Drainage

Grading & Drainage:

The topography of the course after graded is relatively flat. The highest point is located on the small hill of community garden ( contour 107). There is another small hill in Italian garden up to contour 104. In the idea of design, the watershed of Mill Creek is represented as the edge of the course. So there is a ridge defining the edge. The low point is beside the ridge. Water of the course is generally gathered here. The water then flows south into a swale which is represented the image of Schuykill river and reaches the detention basin.
