A CASE STUDY


 

 LAYOUT

The miniature golf course faces the main road and is separated internally from the main golf course by a long club house on stilts.

The pattern of movement from hole1 to hole18 is indicated on the sketch.

Transition spaces are water bodies,pebble beds,rock gardens,bridges etc,.

There are actually three courses within the Pine Canyon miniature Golf course. One is called the "Falls Course", the second is called the "Pine and Cave" course...both with level changes .

A third course is specially worked out along gentle grades (indicated in red above) for use by the physically disabled.

 

The TYPICAL CHALLENGES offered in the game of golf as encountered in this course are as follows:

The average length of each hole is 30-45 feet and average width is 2.5-3 feet.
