Allen | Mill Creek Garden |
21 S.Farragut St. |
My name is Brenda Allen from section 281. I attend Sulzberger Middle School. My vision of the future is of ten years from now, in the future. I think it's going to be different from the past. My vision of the future is that it will be beautiful. All of the projects will be torn down. There will be no more highrises and no more lowrises. The streets will be smooth, and potholes will be filled. Maybe the creek from the actual Mill Creek will be there. It will be clean and have fresh water.
The past was like when it had a lot of cave-ins. There was a lot of flooding and damaging of houses. The way we can retain water is to have a garden that holds a tank. The tank will hold the water and when it is full, the pressure from the water will release the lever. The water will sprinkle out slowly onto the flowers to keep them fresh.
I want my project to be Sulzberger's most colorful and beautiful garden ever. I want the flowers to have different shapes, sizes, and colors.I want to have tulips, roses, daisies, and daffodils and many more. I want a vegetable garden with fruit such as apples, oranges, and watermelons. It is also going to have goldfish in a pond. The pond will have a big fountain in the middle ofnthe pond. It is going to have a dolphin statue that sprinkles out water. The goldfish will have a good place to live and plenty of space to swim in. My plan is to have a garden in every corner of the yard. It will contain the most beautiful things you have ever seen. This garden will have an opening so people can explore and learn different things. I plan to retain the water with the following device. It will have a big tank with pipes that connect to the other smaller tank. The big tank will store the water and when it fills up, the pressure from the water will release it slowly so that it will sprinkle out on the flowers to keep them fresh. |
