"My personal feelings about the mill Creek project is that when you don't try to help and rebuild the community,it will break down."

Hello, my name is Kalif Briggs of Section 281 of the Sulzberger Middle School. I am about to develop a proposal for revealing and restoring an urban water garden.

About two thousand years ago, Lancaster Avenue was an Indian Path. This path is over sixty miles long. Some Indians moved next to the Delaware River. They had villages from six to twelve huts. There were young men practicing with bows and arrows. Soon they were skilled hunters.

When it rains, it makes the sewage back up in the north and south lunchrooms of the Sulzberger Middle School. The creek was constructed in the 1890's and took a while to build. Years later, the pipes started to crack open and houses started to cave in. At the site of Forty-seventh and Aspen Street, there is a serious problem. lso, near Lancaster Avenue, there are a lot of potholes.

In the future, we need more trees and a greenway. When we are outside of the classroom, we need to think more about the community. I think we need more flowers and new gardens. My personal feelings about the Mill Creek project is that when you don't try to help and rebuild the community, it will break down.
