Mr. Campbell assigned us with a project. The project was to take a street and describe it as we see it now. He also asked us as a group to describe how we might change it. The way I decided to change it was to make gardens where there are dumpsters. Also, remove the the trash and make aplace where all the water can go. Put a gate over the sewer so when it rains, the water will not all go into the sewer and overflow. This would happen around 47th and Aspen Streets.
My fellow students and I also learned with the Penn students about how our community was before our parents were here. I learned that most of the area has soil roads back in the 1800's. Then more Penn studnets came and talked about how we could make greenways. That is a place for the little kids to play in, instead of playing in the streets. We also talked about how we should make more stores in the community so we can get to the stores faster.
