My name is Nashea Sheed. I was selected to do a water garden that will reveals and restores urban water. My design has a brick wallway with a fountain in the middle. it also has gardens with grass and pebbles around the edge. The fountains will have a sprinkler system for water play and will also be able to rotate. This water play area will be open to all children and adults of the neighborhood. this is not like the water garden that should be locked at all times.

My whole reason for this design is so that the things that happened in the past will not happen in the future. The raw sewage that came up from the pipes caused diseases and bugs to come up from the sewer. The creek also caused alot of houses to cave in. The section that had the most disease was North Philadelphia. the reason it had the most diseases was because all the houses were really crowded. The people did not have enough fresh air to breathe. That kept alot of the germs flowing. That is when people started to build more of their homes in the West and South parts of Philadelphia.
