Pairs of students at Sulzberger Middle School test what would happen if a wetland were built in Mill Creek.
1. A simple topographic model is constructed with clay.
2. Students slowly pour a glass of water over the model to simulate rainfall.
3. Students observe where water collects in the model and conclude the wetland decreases the amount of water flowing over the streets of Mill Creek.
