Bruker / MIT Symposium -- Workshop:
Data Processing with APEX4

Friday, February 23rd 2024, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Moore room (6-321).

The 2024 Bruker/MIT symposium will be coupled to a Structure Refinement Workshop taught by Peter Müller (MIT), Ashley Weiland (Bruker-AXS), and Michael Ruf (Bruker-AXS).

I will lecture for a couple of hours or so about the fundamentals (real space, reciprocal space, phases, refinement, constraints, restraints, etc.) and then, in a hands-on-follow-along-type session, we’ll all determine a simple structure together using the latest version of the Bruker software, namely APEX5. This workshop is tailored for beginners. If you are already determining crystal structures the workshop would most likely not be for you; but please send your friends and your students who might want to start using crystallography. .

This workshop will take place on Friday, February 23 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in room 6-321 (Moore Room).

The number of participants for the workshop is limited to 35 -- please apply early, places will be granted on a first-come-first-served basis.
