Stephen Yablo has been in the Department of Linguistics and Philosophy since 1997. Before that he taught for twelve years at the University of Michigan. He did his graduate work at the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Pune in Maharashtra, India. He works on identity, essence, causation, intrinsicness, paradox, metaphor, properties, existence, definition, conceivability, and truth.
