The following software is available to MIT faculty, staff and students. Access to some of the software is limited to those with valid MIT Personal Certificates. Some of this software is intended for MIT use only and may be subject to export controls. It is illegal to redistribute the software without permission.
Keep your Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems up to date through MIT's free Red Hat Network Satellite Server service - 6/2/2005
IS&T recognizes that the MIT Linux community uses many different Linux distributions.
Both Red Hat Enterprise 4 and 5 on 32-bit and 64-bit x86 hardware are recommended and fully supported.
Customers with these platforms can obtain binaries from the sections below:
Customers running other Linux distributions are advised to build applications from source because each distribution has unique issues with binary compatibility.
