ruby is an awesome programming language. You can play with it in your web browser here. I do a lot of support, helping, and similar sorts of stuff on freenode (irc://irc.freenode.net/#ruby-lang).

Debian is a free, open-source operating system distribution (based on GNU/Linux). It's also awesome. I do a fair amount of Debian support on freenode (irc://irc.freenode.net/#debian). Additionally, I use Debian on the vast majority of my boxes.

I was a staff volunteer for the freenode IRC network. In addition to monitoring the operation of the network, I did a lot of coding for internal projects.

Syllable is a free, open-source operating system designed for user-friendliness and ease of operation. I put together the second incarnation of the Dev Pack, and wrote the installer that was used in (I believe) Syllable 0.5.x and later.
