Twentypounds.com is a consortium of some
of the
ENR Top 400 commercial general contractors in the United States with a combined total
construction volume of over $20 Billion. The consortium was formed in fourth quarter of
1999 as a structure within which the qualified participants in the construction industry
may:
Identify potential vendors of Internet platforms for use
by participants in the construction industry;
Evaluate the functionality of the proposed platforms
under circumstances in which improvements and additions maybe suggested to the Internet
platforms;
Negotiate the terms under which participants commit to
utilize one or more Internet platforms offered by vendors;
Negotiate the terms under which the participants who
commit to use a particular Internet platform are afforded the opportunity to obtain an
equity investment in the Internet provider.
