SUMMARY:
Hearings to consider S. 2667, the National Energy Policy Act of 1988, to establish an energy policy to address the issue of global warming and develop strategies to respond to environmental problems caused by increased atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide and other heat-retaining gases produced in burning fossil fuels (the greenhouse effect).
