Katrina Muir Cornell: Katrina is a Master's student in Geology at MIT. A river guide and kayaker, Katrina has found a way to meld her passion for rivers with her formal education by modeling bedrock channel erosion for her thesis work. Originally from Truckee, CA, Katrina is also an avid skier. A talented vocalist, she plays a plethora of instruments, including piano, guitar, mandolin, mountain dulcimer, and - somewhere in the dark recesses of her past - oboe and saxaphone.  email Katrina
