Your TAs:

Seth Burgess was born and raised in northern California and relocated in 2007 to begin graduate work at MIT. His prior education includes a Bachelors degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a M.S. in geology from San Jose State University. At MIT, Seth works with Dr. Sam Bowring in the EAPS geochronology lab.

Your UTFs:

Linda Seymour is a sophomore.   Ruaridh Macdonald is a senior from London, UK, studying Nuclear Science and Engineering (course 22) here at MIT. He was involved in each of the projects from the last three years and greatly enjoyed them all.

Allison Schneider is a sophomore in Course 12 (Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Science). She enjoys stabbing people with swords as part of the Shakespeare Ensemble and shooting them with Nerf guns in the Assassins' Guild. She's from New York, and wants one day to live in the American Museum of Natural History.   Jessica Fujimoriis a Course 12 sophomore from Massachusetts, and she think rocks are really cool. She also thinks newspapers are awesome (though sadly in decline), which is why she's minoring in Science Journalism. She took all three Terrascope classes last year and can now say she solved world hunger (sort of) when people ask her what she did freshmen year!

Laura Matloff is a junior from Northern California and helped solve global warming with Mission 2013. Currently she is studying Mechanical Engineering (course 2) and in her spare time likes to cook, play guitar, and take naps in the Terrascope room.

Alexander Keesling I'm a Junior in Physics doing a concentration in Biophysics. I am here as an International Student coming from Mexico, and I don't know yet where I'm going to go after MIT, but I would like to combine my knowledge in Physics and Biological Engineering with my interest in Energy and Sustainability to do cool stuff that will help the world as a whole.

Julia Kimmerly is a junior from rural Vermont.  She is a Course 2A (Mechanical Engineering) major with a concentration in energy and is also pursuing Philosophy. Mission taught her how to use every second of an MIT day, so besides UTFing, she fences and is a part of the FSAE race car team. Thanks to Terrascope, Julia spent this past summer in San Francisco interning for a company working on Carbon Capture and Storage.
