This is footage of myself putting on the Puppia RiteFit Harness. I have been using the harness with my dog Rufus for 6 weeks. The ease of use varies with how excited Rufus is for his walk. More excitement means more movement and a longer put-on time.
Put-On Steps:
(assuming you are starting with all buckles closed)
Ask your dog to sit. Use treats if needed.
Unbuckle and un-velcro only one of the two collar buckle joints.
Unbuckle the chest strap.
Velcro and buckle the collar around the neck at this one joint.
Adjust the v-patch across the chest, using the logo to center the harness
Use human hand to lift left paw and insert left dog leg into the opening
Reach over dog's back and buckle the chest strap, making sure the right dog leg is in front of the chest strap
Clip the leash on to the D-ring
