With this sketch model, we wanted to explore how we could trigger the spotlights when a ball is deposited into a target hole. When a ball is deposited in one of the holes, the hole closes up and triggers a spotlight that illuminates part of a hidden message, indicated by the blue LED. In order to reset the game, a single button is pressed, triggered by the team leaving the room, which makes the balls fall back to the base of the maze and all the spotlights turn back off.
The room will be themed as a modern art exhibit with different paintings and the maze on the wall. This is an example of one abstract art painting that, when the spotlight shines on it, illuminates part of the secret door code in black light paint.
