Conference Schedule

The Japanese Language Teachers Association of New England is calling for papers in the area of Japanese language teaching. All proposals, i.e., abstracts, must be received by Monday, April 15, 2002. Presenters are expected to discuss ways to improve the teaching of Japanese at both the pre-college and the college levels. Papers may be presented either in Japanese or in English, and each presentation should be 20 minutes long with an additional 5 minutes for discussion. An abstract for each paper should be no more than one page in English or Japanese. Abstracts may be submitted either by e-mail or by fax to Kiyomi Kagawa, Department of German, Russian and Asian Languages & Literatures, Tufts University.
