This story was written for the MIT class 21W.765J(if you can't figure out what that is, then you'll know why you didn't get into MIT).  It is adapted from a section of a story by the same title that I wrote in 1997.

It is a story about a group of guys and their scuba adventure. None of the people in it have lived or breathed outside my imagination, and now I am setting them loose in yours. Enjoy.

Slight technicalities from the realities of scuba have been modified to suit the story and avoid confusing  non-divers.

All images where nicked off the web and then integrated into the story's reality using Photoshop 4.0 and GIF Construction Set 32.
(When will someone come up with a decent way to look for images on the web?)
